Learning Reiki
|
Learning Reiki was an experience which changed my life.
Each stage in the process was a mystical, magical healing adventure.
I am deeply honored to be able to share this experience with others.
I encourage students not to rush through this learning, but to savor it, and
typically recommend at least six months between levels.
Classes available:
Reiki I--Self Healing with Reiki: "To heal others, to heal the world,
we must first learn to heal ourselves." This class introduces the student to Reiki with an
emphasis on self-healing and includes a level I attunement. Prerequisites: none except a willingness to learn and a desire to heal.
Reiki II--Reiki Practitioner:
This class builds on the learning from Reiki I and
enables the student to work as a Reiki Practitioner.
Topics include: opening to intuition, distance healing, and Reiki symbols.
A level II attunement is included.
Prerequisites: Reiki I class and Reiki self-healing experience.
Reiki III--Reiki Master: The subject of this class is learning to teach Reiki and includes a level III attunement.
Before and after the actual class, I am available as a mentor to Reiki Master candidates.
Prerequisites: Reiki II class, healing experience, and a written letter of intent asking to become a Reiki Master.
Refresher Classes: I often run into people who have been attuned to Reiki long ago.
While the power of an attunement stays with someone for their entire life, sometimes a refresher course can be, well, quite refreshing!
I teach Reiki in a variety of settings. In addition to traditional day long workshops,
I conduct classes by request for individuals, couples, and small groups.
These smaller classes tend to be more personalized and can more easily focus on students' individual healing issues.
I have studied "learner-centered education" and have applied these principles to my Reiki classes.
All my classes have at least three components: discussion, attunement, and practicum.
During the discussion phase, essential knowledge is shared between student and teacher.
The attunement is a ritual where the ability to do Reiki is actually transferred.
During the practicum, students have the opportunity to practice Reiki.
Most of all, when I teach, I always keep in mind something often repeated by Hawayo Takata: "Let Reiki teach you." ... I am still learning.
Pricing available upon request.
